Albania - Mirel Josa and Ulrich Schulze leave the bench

Two of the teams with the longest tradition in Albanian soccer have seen important changes on the bench this week. Tirana’s coach Mirel Josa has been fired by the board of Tirana due to poor results, mostly in the past two games. Along with Josa, assistant coach Agustin Kola was also dismissed. The other coach that was fired this week was Vllaznia’s German coach Ulrich Schulze. The reason in this case was also poor results for a team with a lot of expectations. On Vllaznia’s bench, however, it will be Mirel Josa that will now be making the calls. In a interview for albaniasoccer.com, Josa said that he has agreed to sign with the president of the team and that he has found at Vllaznia a team that is hungry for success. When asked about Tirana he said that that was a closed chapter and Vllaznia is his main focus now.

In the meantime, Tirana will be lead by Shkëlqim Muça and Alban Tafaj, at least for now.
