NATO do te mbetet ne Kosove, sic e parashikon rezoluta 1244.

Ne nje deklarate te firmosur ne fund te takimit dyditor te ministrave te Jahtem te Aleances, theksohet se NATO do te bashkepunoje dhe ndihmoje institucionet ne Kosove per zhvillimin e nje Kosove te qendrueshme, multietnike dhe paqesore.
Vendosja e shpejte e EULEX-it ne tere Kosoven vleresohet si prioritet urgjent. NATO inkurajon autoritetet ne Kosove dhe Serbi te bashkepunojne gjate dhe pas periudhes se transferimit te kompetencave dhe te parandalojne dhunen.
NATO shprehet e gatshme te luaje rol ne zbatimin e marreveshjeve te ardhshme te sigurise dhe themelimin e Forces se Sigurise se Kosoves.
