Berisha: Moisiu had his word; Now everything in the hand of KQZ
The prime minister Berisha has reemphasised the resoluteness of his government to have locl elections on January 20 leaving aside every pretention of the opposition or of the president of the republic since now he has no legal right for interferring. “The only one that shoul decide and have the last word now is KQZ,” said the prime minister for media. He also spoke against the interferring of the president in such an issue since according to him the competences of the president end with the decreeing of the date that now is done. “The president has consumed his constitutional competence with the decree about the election date,” said the prime minister Berisha.
He added that “The constitution in untouchable and does not allow any physical or juridical person, including LSI or PD or the government to comment it. This can do actually the Central Commission of Elections. Elections have their own goivernment and it is KQZ whom the constitution gives all the atributes. The election process is going forward and will continue to be completed since it KQZ that will give a solution and has an election dtae. The opposition stands for the boycott which I call it to abandon. In general the civil offices and the local units are not taking part in the act of election sabotation. They do not accept to sabotatee but are sending the lists to the Ministry of Interior.”
The prime minister accused the socialist leader Edi Rama for being one of the main causes of the actual situaion. According to him “The problem is essential and very simple. As a way to hold to his chair Rama has chosen not to allow the registering of its candidate. Only in monism those who should be elected were selected. To hinder the law and the registraion of the rival, this only Rama does.”
As for the demand made by three parliamentary parties, LSI, PDK and PBDNJ who has demandd from the president to call the table of political parties, Berisha said that “I do not consider as innormal such a demand.”
