Galak: The boycott is an unacceptable way; Albania does not have the luxury of such actions!

The speaker of the chief of Foreign Policy of EU, Havier Solana, Kristina Galak has toughly criticized the actual blocking of the election reform in Albania. She emphasised that Albania is still passing through a transitory period and that such blockings are steps back its european future. Interviewed by an Albanian TV Galak said that “Albania does not need situations like those we are seeing so the appeal of EU for both parties is to show will of dialogue.” According to her the declarations made by leaders of the opposition for boycott of the coming local elections can’t be a logical solution of the problem. “I think that the answer to this in not boycott but the engagement and dialogue between parties to solve the crisis with an agreement. Only flexibility and responsibility would solve the things. When one is called to electons one can’t answer with boycott. If in Albania there is a party that does not accept the elections, the only way is flexibility and dialogue and the reaching of an agreement.
