President Moisiu invites the Austrian business to enhance the investments in Albania
The President of the Republic, Alfred Moisiu held today a meeting with representatives of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce.
During this meeting, President Moisiu expressed the praise for the excellent level of relations between the two countries and in this framework also for the increasing interest of the Austrian business in Albania. President Moisiu stated that the Austrian business enjoys a positive reputation in our country, which makes up a good foundation for the enhancement of this presence in all the economic sectors of joint interest. The opening of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce in Tirana is a welcomed development because it will play a significant role in strengthening the trading connections and exchanges between the two countries.
Then Mr. Moisiu spoke about the concrete opportunities of cooperation, dwelling especially on the privatization of strategic sectors, tourism, and infrastructure and power fields. Albania offers already great warranties and opportunities for investments and with the increase of the Albanian business, foreign companies will find here serious partners for economic cooperation.
The Austrian delegation was accompanied by the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to our country, Klaus Derkowitsch.
