The parliament will approve by consensus the changes in the election code and in the constitution

After many debates between the majority and the opposition the parliament is expected to meet and demand from the president of the republic Alfred Moisiu to decree another date for the local elections, a date that will be within the February 20, and apporve by consensus the changes in the election code. In the today meeting at afternoon the parties will also demand consensus for changes in the constitution. As about the attitude of the president Moisiu on the date change it seems there will be no obstacle since he himself has said that he will support any consensus of the political parties to get out of the election crisis.

On the other hand the opposition will now insist in the fulfillment of the standards. Its reporesenters said yesterday that the date of February 20 will be very late too if the reform does not tbegin to be discussed from today.
