Albanian governement rejects opposition requests for new certificates

The Albanian Government rejected the opposition request about the emitting of special certificates to use in the future local elections. The Internal vice-minister Ferdinand Pone, said that the emittion of that kind of certificates is tecnically impossible. "It's tecnically impossible to emit that kind of certificates. The documents that will be used in the elections, are secure and sufficcient for having elections that fulfill the requested standards." said Mr Poni. He declared that it has successfully finished the contact wýth all the families that lives in various districts for their registration in election lists." Already we have contacted with 99,13 per cent of families. The lowest percentual of contacts is in Vlora because there are many adress changes and the contact wýth them has been impossible" said Internal vice-minister Poni.
