Berisha with concrete proposals for the certificates and election lists; The preparetions about to end!
The prime minister Berisha said that the elections preparations are about to end and that PD is ready to begin the election campaign. In the meeting of the parliamentary group of PD he said that the majority has presented its proposals on the problems presented by the opposition about the election certificates and lists. “The opposition has raised the problem of certificates. We have proposed that no one with a certificate without the code of the unit whence it has been issued should be able to vote in that center but I have met with the directors of ODIHR and have demanded from them to examine the problem of certificates and every reccomandation coming from them we are ready to accept,” emphasised the chief of the governing cabinet.
On the election lists, the prime minister Berisha added that “The lists of 2005 have been certificated as valid. We propose that as soon as the lists are published, near the civil offices tens of judge offices be raised so that the citizens who do not have the name in the lists should adress them and take from them the authorization.”
Accusing the leader of PS, Edi Rama for blocking the amendment of the lists, Berisha also said “I want to inform you that the preparations for elections are about to end and the campaign is ready to start. The candidates have been selected. This, in the whole, with general consensus. It is normal that in hundreds of them some may be not pleased. As to the opposition I again want to invite it to reconsider its attitude. Its is very harmful to take such a decision for a single person who, as speaking about standards, for a whole year blocked the amendment of the lists.”
He expressed his readiness to negotiate with the opposition parties, except the election date. “We are ready to sit and discuss everything. Of course we do not negotiate the date decreed by the president Moisiu whom all Albanian know how partial or impartial he is,” said among others the prime minister Berisha.
