Gjinushi: The most proprite tim for the elections remains March

According to the leader of Socialdemocrat party Seknder Gjinushi, after the actual crisis the most propriate month for the local elections remains March. The approval of the election reform packett in the parliament proposed by th opposition would enable the realization of elctions in March. In a prounanciation for media he said that “the opposition is continuing the efforts to find a solution since it has made its attitude known that we stand for legitimizing this process, because the code is totally unappliable and the situation completely blocked because the packett should be approved in the aprliament.”

“These demands are not repeated demands of the opppositon. Through these demands the citizens are guaranteed the free and honest vote and the legitimization of the process is the beginning of the application of the standards to give acceptable elections and certificated by the international community,” Gjinushi said.

As to the election date he emphasised that “by voting the packett we enable the determination of a new date and this period does not extend March. The debated, negotiated and ready to be voted packett guarantees free and honest elections, accpetable to the parties before March in a very optimal period and minimal for the time remaining.”
