Gjinushi: We won’t enter the elctions with a statute-barred and unappliable code

The leader of the Socialdemocratic Party Skender Gjinushi said that the opposition is waiting a final response to the bilateral negotiations for the amend in the code. In a prounanciation for media Gjinushi excluded the possibility of opposition entering the elections with a statute-barred and unappliable code. According to him the legal process up to now is out of control because we have a de facto statute-barred code. “The actual code is nullified. All its periods are invalid, be it for the lists or for the commissions and so it is unappliable. Now that there is a packet in the parliament it is necessary that it be voted for us to pass into a normal process. For the time remaining we have spent our maximum of tolerance. With the actual code the elections must be made after 9 months and we think the possibility to find an optimal time to enter the elections and to realize the standards is possible,” Gjinushi said.
