Grunet meets with Gjata and Mustafaj

Jorgen Grunet, the chief of OSBE-ODHIR mission for observing the coming local elections in Albania has meet the Wednesday afternoon with the head of KQZ Clirim Gjata. In the meeting the process of preparation for the local elections decrees by the president Alfred Moisiu for 20 January was discussed. Grunet confirmed that 30 long-term observers and 400 short-term ones are expected to come to Albania for the observation of elections. Today he has met the minister of foreign affairs Besnik Mustafaj. Mustafaj pointed out the full engagement of the Albanian government for th realization of a free and honest election process.
