Meta: The opposition should demand standards and not pretexts for boycott!

After the refusal of the proposals of the majority by the opposition parties, the leader of the Socialist Movement for Integration Party Ilir Meta said that the opposition has the right to demand standards and not pretexts to abandon the elections. In a prounanciation for media Meta said that the opposition is decided to enter the elections and does not fear them but the fulfillment of standards is important. According to him the holding of elections on the date decreed by the president Moisiu is impossible. “The January 20 is impossible to hold the elections and it is urgently needed a reflection these two days by the opposition otherwise February 20 will be impossible too,” Meta said.
In the meanwhile during the talks the leader of LSI Ilir Meta has repeated his demand for elecitions on February 20 presenting this date as the last constitutional one. But for the socialists and other opposition parties the election date is not essential since firstly the standards should be fulfilled and then an election date determined.
