Berisha: In the meetings with Mother Theresa I tried to understand where did her extraordinary force lay
The prime minister Berisha visited the National Museum where he participated in the meeting organised on the promovation of the Initiative of this Museum for the foundation of the museum hall dedicated to Mother Theresa. In his saluting the prime minister Berisha thanked all those who took the initiative for the foundation of this special hall. Regarding highly the figure of Mother Theresa the prime minister said that this saint managed more than anyone else to be universal, to touch the heart and soul of all citizens of the world.
The chief of the government said that the figure of Mother Theresa is respected not only within the borders of Albania but all over the world. "I want to tell you that in all my meetings with her I had a primary goal; to discover and undertsand where did her extraordinary force lay. How could this woman work and operate in those spaces where all others had failed, friendship, family, society had failed. All had failed but not her. She had chosen that space to show the people in pain, in difficulty, the people abandoned by all that she was near them and that they should not feel abandoned. Her extraordinary force that enabled her to work and operate in this space where other had failed lay in her unbroken faith in God, in love and in hope,"said Berisha.
