The draft law about the police proposed by the majority is accompanied by debates
The meeting of the Security Commission where the draft about the police was discused, was accopmanied by much debate among the representers of the majority and those of the opposition. In his speech in the meeting the Mınister of Interior Sokol Olldashi presented the draft as similar with the previous.
According to him the draft regulates better the powers of the Minister of Interior and the Chief of the State Police. Olldashi went on emphasising that "The determination of the manner of grade receiving should have been made before and this has created chaos in the police. Now, the new law foresees clearly the mechanisms of the cases and manner of grade receiving by regulating the vertical pyramid of the grades.
Answering the pretensions of the opposition that the draft is one sided, the minister of Interior emphasised that "The only change that this draft brings about is the reestablishment of the police sindicate. As for the other points there is no great change.
On his part the socialist representor Pero Koci has oppossed the draft presented by the majority considering it one sided. Koci emphasised that if such subjectivities go on and the discussions do not get interrupted then the socialist representors will abandon the table of negotiations.
