Berisha: We will reexamine the legislation in the public health field

The prime minister Sali Berisha participated in the National Public Health Conference where he declared that “The reexamination in the field of public health will help in the creation of facilities in the treatment of the employees in this field with all the legal powers they deserve.” He said that the government will support the activity of employees of public health for them to fulfill their noble mission in protecting the health and life of the citizens.
The prime minister Berisha regarded the mission of the public health employees as something based on a multidimensional and multidisiplinal doctrine constituting an important mission and harder than others.
He demanded from the Health Ministry the reexaminations of the public health legislation where the employee should have the last word toward any official or nonofficial that tries to harm the health of citizens by putting satndards in all public health fields.
For the law against the tobacco consumation in public places Berisha pointed out that its application can be realized by the employees of the Public Health Institution because they know better than anyone else the danger of nicotine and its subproducts.
