Ceka: The negotiator goup may discuss the postponing of the election date
The leader of the Democratic Alleance Party expressed his view against the actual code of election regarding it as unuseful and unjust. In aprounanciation for media he emphasised that the negotiator group will discuss for the raise of matters for just elections. The leader of PAD Neritan Ceka said: "We want standards just like ODIHR requires for only for lists 2 month are required and not 40 days and also the element of security of the certificates. The negotiator group will discuss essential matters such as the lists, the determination of the periods for the standards and the certificates but other things included in the election code will be discussed also.
Ceka also regarded as delayed the request of the prime minister Berisha for negotiations for according to him it would be better if these things would be accepted at the time the commission started its work that is within the period determined by the election code.
The leader of PAD Neritan Ceka left opened the possibility that the negotiator group will intervene for the postponing of the election date. "I remind that the dtae announced by the President has to do with the code and not the constitution. It is a date that, if we agree, can be postponned and we have a precedent, that of the elections in 1991 that was on 10-th of February and was taken to the 31-st of March so it is not a wonder bu we shall negotiate the standards," said Ceka.
