KMSH reacts against the Tirana Municipality for the refusal of the permission for the central mosque

KMSH reacts against the Tirana Municipality for the refusal of the permission for the central mosque of the capital, showing thus its unwillingness to give this right to the presenting institution of Albanian Muslims. In a press declaration is emphasised that “The Muslim Community of Albania has followed an official correspondence with Tirana Municipality on the right for the building of this temple at the center of Tirana. For the fullfillment of the needs and requests of muslim believers is required the building of a mosque with a space of 2000 metres square.

The alternative offered by the French urban study of a mosque of 500 metres square near ‘Diskoklub Albania’ has been opposed byus because it does not fullfill our needs.”
