KQZ: The election results will be announced only by KQZV and not by the political parties

The Central Commisiion of Elections (KQZ) decided to prevent misunderstandings and misinterpretations of the election results by giving this duty officially to the KQZV. This decision of KQZV was taken during the today meeting where the prevention of the situation of prevoius elections when political parties gave early results, often contradictory, creating thus confusion was aimed. “The election administrate KQZ through its structures should take and transmit the information not only for a better performance of the commission but also for a positive image and a trust atmosphere more acceptable for the voters through the mediatic opinion,” said the KQZ member Klement Zguri. On the basis of the decision taken by KQZ from every 5 voting centers where the vote counting has finished the local KQZ-s will send a fax with the result to KQZ and it will be published but this will only be an early and not official result. In the units with less than 10 voting centers the informative fax will be send after the counting has finished at every center, and in the units with more than 10 centers the fax will be sent with the early results after the counting in every 5 centers.
