Rama answers back Berisha: The prime minister should take concrete steps!

The leader of the Socialist Party Edi Rama has answered the letter of the prime minister Sali Berisha the day before. In the declaration for press of PS it is reemphasised that Albanians have the right to demand, like the international community an election process free, honest and within european standards.

“There is no doubt that Sali Berisha knows well that today we don’t posess the standards that would enable us an election process deigned for the european ambition of our citizens and such to fulfill the demand of the democratic world from Albania. Words are words dhe actions are actions. Today we have no voting lists nor certificates that we could trust,” goes on the asnwer of Rama to the letter of Berisha.

In the declaration it is emphasised that the demands of the leftists to find a real, right solution acceptable by all parties so that Albanian bbut the world as well should respect us for the high feeling of national and political responsibility, for the democratic consciousness and the reciprocal will in building the consensus. According to socialists Albania remains far from the solution while th country is everyday in the danger of falling into the unknown through some absurd actions that aim the starting of the election process not only without consensus but also without legal basis.

“We again demand from the prime minister to make concrete steps in the right direction, to take concrete actions that show the will for collaboration adresing the concerns of the opposition and negotiating in trust of the vital need of Albanian and Albanians to put to an end the irrational conflictuality that could force Berisha into a historical error with incalculable results for the country.

The prime minister should not demand free and honest elections but guarantee them by guaranteeing the constitutions, the law and the opposition with actions and not words. Nothing else is not acceptable.” Ends the declaration of the press office of PS.
