Zvicra hyn ne zonen Shengen
Zvicra zyrtarisht i eshte bashkuar zones Shengen duke pushuar ne kete menyre te gjitha kontrollet ne kufijte tokesore e saj. Me fjale te tjera kjo do te thote se tashme pasaportat nuk do te kontrollohen me ne kufijte e Zvicres me vendet tjera Evropiane. Nje gje e tille u mundesua fale vendimit te marre nga ana e Ministrave te Brendshem te 27 vendeve anetare. Ato arriten ne perfundimin se Zvicra i ploteson te gjitha standartet e domosdoshme te sigurise ndaj eshte plotesisht e mundur qe ajo tashme ti bashkangjitet zones se udhetimit te lire te BEse. Nga nje vendim i tille do te perfitojne rreth 700 mije shtetas te vendeve qe nuk bejne pjese ne BE si dhe rreth 150 mije shqiptare qe banojne ne Zvicer. Po ashtu banoret e Zvicres votuan pro hyrjes ne zonen e Shengenit nepermjet nje referendumi popullor ne vitin 2005.
