Berisha: FA are a factor of integration in the international organisations

“It is an opportunity for me to transmit you, all soldiers and officers of our Armed Forces and the civil personel of these forces, my most sincere wishes in this notable day for our nation and for Albania.” “The foundation of the Armed Forces of Albania by the government of Ismail Kemal during the first week of the independant state of Albania, was a major, important event, for the protection of the new declared independance and the national freedom of Albania and for the modernisation of the Albanian state as well.” This was the congratulation of the head of the government Sali Berisha on the celebration of the 94-th anniversary of the Armed Forces of Albania.

He said that “Today, after 94 year, the Armed Forces note a balanc which, in the whole, they can and shoul be proud of.” “Founded as the Armed Forces of a free country they made great struggle and became the prime pillar of Albanian resistance in defending the independance, the prime pillar of the Albanian during the WW2. They managed the organisation of the partizan units and the of that war which put Albanians in the right place in history.”

The prime minister promised that “The government is resolved to make every effort for this standards and requirements to be fulfilled so that by merit we should receive the invitation for membership in NATO as the best and the most secur future for Albania and Albanians
