Berisha promises free elections

The prime minister of Albania Slai Berisha has promised the Albanian free and honest elections. The head of the governing cabinet made his declaration in the meeting of the Parliamentary Group of Democratic Party. He accused the opposition of trying to hinder the reforms of the government and wants the failure of the elections. Berisha said that the actual election code is consensual and that the opposition has refused the amends for changes in it. In connection with the election date determined by the President Mr. Berisha spoke positively about such a decision considering it a constitutional right of the President.
