Moisiu: I have decreed the election date; I won’t hinder it if the political parties arrive a consensus for its postponing!

The president of republic Alfred Moisiu has cleared the matter of elction postponing which he was criticised by democrat leaders about. In a press declaration by the press office of presidency it is said that “The president of the republic in fulfilling his constitutional obligation and in harmony with the elction legal frame has decreed the date for th coming local elections. After this, the head of the state has taken no action about the election date but, as he has expressed in a previous case, if a possible dialogue between the political forces would bring the consensus for the postponing of the election date the president would not hinder it.”
