Prime Minister Berisha received today the Head of the Delegation of the European Commission in Tirana, Ambassador Helmuth Lohan.

Mr. Lohan handed to the Prime Minister the EU 2006 Progress Report for Albania as well as a strategy paper submitting the major challenges of the year 2006 – 2007.

The Prime Minister thanked the European Commission and its representatives in Albania on behalf of the government for the great help they are giving to Albania.

Mr. Berisha affirmed to Ambassador Lohan that the Stabilization Association Agreement will be the most serious project of Albania and a road map that will help the country to achieve its main goal, full integration in the EU via all standards.

At the end of the meeting Prime Minister Berisha and Ambassador Lohan held a short press conference.
